The Little Town that Could Hosts Jenner Fest July 23rd

Want to beat the heat inland, or just spend the afternoon listening to great local bands, eating fun food and drink, and enjoying the small town friendly atmosphere of Jenner by the Sea, please mark your calendar for Jenner Fest July 23, from 11am til 5:00.  Bring the kids as there will be children’s activities, as well as community resource tables, and a silent auction. Entrance fee: $10, kids under 12 free.

The picturesque small town of Jenner, located at the mouth of the Russian River, has long been a strong force for environmental preservation on the coast, despite its size.  While small in numbers with a population of only 170 fulltime residents, this community comes together to make big changes, and to create a sense of local pride. Visitors and weekenders love their time spent in Jenner, and particularly enjoy the festivals and special events the town hosts.

The festival will be held at the Jenner Community Center, behind the gas station. It is a fundraiser to support the Community Center and Jenner Fire Station.
